Following the submission of the funding application for the Adult Mobility Project under the European ERASMUS+ Programme, the National Agency for Community Programmes in the Field of Education and Vocational Training has once again approved funding for the Alsterdorf Association’s program to train its own staff and people with disabilities taking part in the training seminars, through Project 2026-1-RO01-KA121-ADU-000433127.
This project runs over a period of 12 months, from 01.09.2025 to 30.09.2026, and involves mobility activities for staff and trainees with disabilities, aimed at increasing assistance and support competencies for people with special needs, and at developing and practicing social skills of communication and cooperation with people with psychiatric and intellectual disabilities, increasing participation in democratic processes, inclusion, and learning about and adopting European values.
As part of this project, we will organize job-shadowing mobility activities and group mobility for adult trainees in European countries. The Alsterdorf Association is an organization that carries out adult training activities and prepares people with disabilities for independent living, and has held ERASMUS+ accreditation since 2023.
Over the past two years, more than 50 people have taken part in various training programs, learning and practicing new skills, delivered as mobility activities, courses, or online meetings.
We thank the National Agency for Community Programmes in the Field of Education and Vocational Training for its support and guidance, our partners across Europe for their openness and professionalism, and our colleagues for their commitment.
We will follow up throughout the project with concrete information about the activities carried out.
